Organ Studies at Baylor University

Organ Studies at Baylor University

20 October 2024

Applications are now open for organ studies at Baylor University for all degree programs: Bachelor of Music in Organ Performance or Church Music with Organ Concentration, Master of Music in Organ Performance or Church Music with Organ Concentration, and Doctor of Musical Arts in Church Music with Organ Concentration.

Generous scholarships (up to full tuition) are availabe for all degree programs.

For MM Organ Performance students entering the Baylor University School of Music in fall 2025, we are thrilled to announce that there is one Graduate Associate (GA) position available! In addition to a full tuition scholarship, the GA receives a generous annual stipend.

This fall semester, the current GA teaches 10 secondary organ students (mostly piano majors who are taking organ lessons on the side, some of them for the third semester in a row); it is highly likely that the new GA will also be needed to teach organ in the 2025/26 academic year (depending on enrollment).
